Putting in a Ticket

  • Customer Support: general inquiries and changes to the website (24-48 to complete)
    • Images, email, forms, domains, video, text content, e–commerce store, e–newsletter, logo, design, move info, coupons, social networking, music and other
  • Description about ticket
    • Avoid using negative words
      • Problem
      • Issue
      • Difficult
      • Another problem
      • Etc.
  • Internal notes in the internal notes section – client cannot see internal notes – always be appropriate!
    • Please be courteous and polite in tickets
    • Open a ticket for each webID
    • Can reference other ticket # if necessary
    • Attach a reference picture if necessary
    • Number changes for clarity
  • Migration Tickets
    • Subject AND description should be: “New Editor Edits” (While we transition between systems we need a way to denote what edits should be made in each version of the website since at this point there will be two). Any changes for the old editor site only should be marked “Old Editor Edits”
