Before requesting a domain transfer from your previous company, please log into your account to make sure that all information has been moved to your new site with us. Please call us if any additional information needs to be added from your old web site.
Please go to where your domain is registered and perform the following steps:
- Log into your account and change the "custom nameservers" or "nameservers." This should be under "manage domains", "DNS settings" or "nameservers".
- For your site to remain live while transferring your domain, change your nameservers to the following:
- Provide us with a transfer authorization code for transfer of the domain.
- There will be a follow-up email for you to accept the transfer. Once that is completed, the domain will be successfully transferred.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Prior to making the name server change regarding email.
If you're moving to our email service: There will be a minor disruption in service when transferring the domain or changing the name servers. Please save any important emails.
If you're keeping email at your present provider: If you presently have email hosted with another company and you wish to keep it with this company please notify us BEFORE changing the name servers/transferring the domain. We will need that company's MX Records.
